Everybody likes water. Except for hydrophobics and rabid people.

Anyway, it's a great shot. Almost surreal, because I'm so used to seeing at least one boat in any given body of water. It's nice to see something relatively untouched.

Well... it's not exactly untouched... given this is taken at a very popular marina on one of the larger lakes on my island... but I dropped by there at an odd time of day where nobody was around. All the boats were tied up or towed away and it was just me and the fog.

Still, I know what you mean. It's nice to see something so serene in the crazy world we have.

Well to be fair, I see the same thing from my house... but I am quite happy and lucky to live in a part of the world where wilderness is never very far away. It's a beautiful island in Canada and every time I take it's portrait I feel blessed.

You, sir, are a lucky person :P I live in a very metropolitan part of the world, so seeing a totally natural landscape is a rare sight for me.
